226 grams butter
300 grams sugar
8 egg yolks
180 grams milk
6 grams vanilla
240 grams cake flour
10 grams baking powder
3 grams salt
Preheat to 350 F. Grease cake pan or cupcake pan.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg yolks one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated.
Pour batter into pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes before turning out onto rack or plate.
